To produce a gloabl SMS platform that is integrated into established cloud based products.
We saw a potential in the market for an enterprise level SMS product that that would sit directly within established CRMs such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM. We set about creating a new company and product called TxtSync. Such a product would be heavily reliant on selling itself through online presence so SEO, content marketing and app store presence was very important to the sales strategy.
We brought a new product and company to market called TxtSync. A global SMS platform that was fully integrated into Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Flow and Zapier.
We created a global SMS platform within Amazon Web Services that was designed to handle extreme load.
The SMS platform was usable as a standalone application through the TxtSync interface. Within the standalone application you could manage your contacts, and manually send and receive text messages. You could also use the standalone for mass marketing with full delivery reporting.
The platform was exposed through an API in which developers were able to use to incorporate SMS capabilities into their existing products. The TxtSync API was also used to create a Microsoft Flow and Zapier connector that allowed non technical people to add SMS capabilities to their business workflows.
Finally a deep integration into Microsoft Dynamics was created so that SMS communications could be initiated and tracked directly within the CRM. Components were deployed as building blocks into Dynamics that allowed system customizers to make SMS part of their business workflows.
We focused on delivering great user experiences for sending and receiving SMS directly in Dynamics.
The standalone application allowed customers to send out marketing SMS without the need of a CRM.
People and business send a lot of text messages so the TxtSync platform was designed to automatically scale depending on the load placed onto the platform. This gives the benefit of handling high volume while keeping costs low during off peak times.
A data synchronization process was created which is capable of keeping TxtSync up to date with changes in the CRM and vice versa. Data Sync was built in a way so that updates were instant without having to poll any system.
TxtSync’s platform consists of many architectural components that need to be monitored. Live statistics of these components are reported back to dashboards running in real-time which display the health of the components.
